Childhood & Education
Although Kelley was born in Sacramento, California, she was raised in an Air Force Family and moved several times throughout her childhood. Growing up, she lived in Georgia, Alabama, Texas, Ohio, and Virginia. In 1983, she returned to Houston County, Georgia.
Kellye earned a B.B.A and graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia in 1990. After one year of law school at UGA, she transferred to Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law. In 1993, she graduated with a J.D.

She has been a member at the state bar level of the Law Practice Management Program, Solo and Small Firm Resource Planning Board, and Transition into Law Practice Program. In addition, she is the Houston County Bar Association Immediate Past President for 2015 and a member of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers.
Kellye is married to Chris and they have two teenage daughters. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, watching SEC football, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.
