John joined the firm after receiving his law degree from Mercer University and being admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2002. John was named a partner in the firm in 2008. Prior to practicing law, he worked in the telecommunications industry for a privately owned telephone company. John received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Georgia in 1999.

John was born in Macon, Georgia and he has spent most of his life in the Middle Georgia area. He is involved in the community as a charter member of the Board of Directors of the James E. Worrall Foundation, a member of the Board of First Love Ministries, Inc., a member and adult Sunday School teacher at the Perry United Methodist Church and a member of the Perry Kiwanis Club.

John and his wife, Ashley, live in Perry and they have three daughters. When he has time, John participates in Adventuring Racing throughout the southeast and the occasional Ultimate Frisbee tournament.

John is a member of the Houston County Bar Association and the State Bar of Georgia.
